Library at  AIACTR  is privileged to support  Institute’s march towards its vision –  " To be the fountainhead of new ideas and innovators in Technology and Science." It strives to connect outstanding faculty and brilliant students to the knowledge and state of the art of their disciplines, and thereby strengthens the aspirations and expectations of the research and teaching work at  AIACTR  Delhi. Multiple copies of books are available for issue and reference. Reading material includes text books, reference books, fiction titles, Indian/foreign periodicals and journals.

Supplements the teaching of the faculty and lectures of the guest speakers. Another feature of the library is the Automation Software System and Internet connection. Audio-visual materials such as CD’s, floppies and video cassettes on diverse topics are available for students’ use. The reading room has a seating capacity of more than 50 students

Ours is a forward-looking department where books are regularly reviewed to ensure that they are always up-to-date.
                           
SPORTS CENTRE 

The importance of sports in the life of a young student is invaluable and goes much further than the basic answer that "it keeps kids off the streets." It does in fact keep kids off the streets, but it also instills lessons that are essential in the life of a student. Sports play a pivotal role in the makeup of a young student.
   
The students of Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communicat​ion Technologies & Research are encouraged to take active parts in sports activities. Excellent facilities are provided in the college campus for sports. Students take part in Inter-college competitions held yearly during the sport week of the University apart from regularly enjoying sports of their choice in the college campus as well as during sports week of the college.

 The Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communicat​ion Technologies & Research provides sound platform for students to exhibit their natural talent in a host of extra curricular activities. The students of Ambedkar institute of technology have shown immense enthusiasm in all fields including sports and fitness activities

 The college has provided support to flourish sporting talent of young students in terms of encouragement and sporting facilities; namely:-

To nurture the talent of our buzzing sports player the sports society (coordinators: Vipul Gupta, Kapil; under the guidance of sir Rajveer Yaduvanshi) in support of college authorities organizes
Annual sports meet known as KHEL.

 Till date we have successfully organized two annual sports meet

  1. KHEL2k7
  2. KHEL 2k8

 
KHEL 2K7 was the first major successful sports meet that lasted for three days with students from all department and year competed with each other in the spirit of the game.

 The sports events included :-

  1. SOCCER
  2. VOLLEYBALL
  3. CRICKET
  4. BADMINTON
  5. TABLE TENNIS
  6. LAN GAMING
  7. CHESS
  8. CARROM
  9. ATHLETIC EVENTS( LONG JUMP,RELAY, DISCUSS THROW, SHOT PUT , TUG OF WAR)

 The success and popularity of khel2k7 laid the foundation for the upcoming sports meet .
hence the College organized even more grand sports meet khel2k8 with an increased participation.
Thus sports meet has become the most looked forward  event and an integral part of the college culture.
 
Learning Resource Utilization Centre

  1. To encourage self-directed learning, resources such as computers, videos, CBT’s  and models, among others, should be readily available to the students.
  2. LRUC provides all these facilities to the students so that they can be benefited by the resources.
  3. Apart from CBTs, computer, internet LRUC centre provides computer based teaching CDs of eminent professors to our students. With a separate dedicated computer room with internet facility, students can enhance their knowledge intake beyond teaching hours by using LRUC as per their interest.
